Verify Liveboards
Liveboard creators and editors can get their Liveboards reviewed to make sure the
content is correct. Verifiers review the Liveboards and mark them as verified. The
Verified
badge appears above the Liveboard title.
Assign verifiers
Add users to a group with the Liveboard Verification role so that they can receive verification request emails. See Create and edit groups.
Request verification
- Open the Liveboard.
- Select More
at the top of the Liveboard. - Select Request verification.
- Enter a message and select who to send the request to.
- Select Share and request verification.
- The verifier gets a request email.
Verify a Liveboard
- Check your email for a verification request. Select View
Liveboard.
You can also find pending requests in Explore. In the top navigation bar, use the workspace selector
to go to the Data workspace, then select
Liveboard verification. - After reviewing the Liveboard, select Approve or Decline.
- If you approve it, a Verified
badge is added to the Liveboard.
Re-verify a Liveboard after editing
If you edit Answers on a Liveboard that was already verified, you might need to re-verify it.
- After editing, a warning banner appears to let you and other viewers know that the Liveboard might need to be verified again. The banner stays there until it's re-verified.
- If you have edit permissions for the Liveboard, you can request verification.
- The request email goes to the person who originally verified the Liveboard, unless you specify other verifiers.
Remove verification
Open the Liveboard, then select .
View verification details
Any user can view the verifiers name and verification date. Select
More
at the top of the Liveboard, then select Show Liveboard
details.
Verifiers can view details about verified, pending, and rejected Liveboards if
they additionally have one of the following roles: Data Model
Management role. In the top
navigation bar, use the workspace selector
to go to the Data workspace, then select
Liveboard verification.
