Share Answers and Liveboards
There are multiple ways to share visualized data in Explore with other people. You can share Answers and Liveboards that you or other people created.
Save an Answer
After you create a visualization by searching
data, select More 
> Save to save it as an Answer. Make sure to select
Make this answer discoverable if you want other
people in your organization to find it. It's discoverable by members of the same user group who
have access to the Answer’s underlying data source.
Pin an Answer to a Liveboard
Select Pin on an Answer to add it to a new or existing Liveboard. A Liveboard is a live dashboard that displays multiple Answers.
Share Answers and Liveboards
- Share Answers or Liveboards
- To share an Answer or Liveboard with specific users
or groups within your organization, open the Answer or Liveboard and
select Share
. You can give them permission to
View or Edit and add a
message. - Share Liveboards by email on a regular schedule
- You can send a Liveboard to specific users or groups on a regular schedule,
such as weekly at 9 a.m. Select More > Schedule.
- Sync Answers or Liveboards to an external application
- Using the Sync feature, you can push Answer or Liveboard data from Explore to an external app, such as Slack or Microsoft Teams. See Push data to external applications.
- Add Answers to a Google or Microsoft document
- Using plugins for Google and Microsoft products, you can add an Answer to a spreadsheet or presentation. Update the data by clicking a button or (for some products) automatically on a schedule. To use the plugins you must have the Data Downloading role in Explore. See the ThoughtSpot documentation for:
- Embed the Explore for Claims Liveboards in ClaimCenter
- You can embed a Liveboard called Explore for Claims into the ClaimCenter Team tab, so that users can use analytics insights in their everyday work. ClaimCenter users can interact with the embedded Liveboard just as they could in Explore. See Embed an Explore Liveboard into ClaimCenter.
- Present Liveboards
- To present a Liveboard as a slideshow, select More > Present. If you select this option on a specific Answer within a
Liveboard, the slideshow opens on that Answer.
- Copy a link to an Answer
- To copy a direct link to an Answer that's on a Liveboard, select More > Copy link.
- Download Answers or Liveboards
- For individual Answers, you can download a PNG, Microsoft Excel (XLSX), or
CSV file. Select More > Download.
- You can also download an entire Liveboard as a PDF or PNG. Select More > Download PDF or Download PNG.
