Edit Liveboards
To edit a Liveboard in Explore, open it and select Edit in the top right corner of the page. Then use any of the methods below to edit your Liveboard.
- Add a tab
- Click the +Add tab link in the menu panel to create a new tab in your Liveboard. Tabs are similar to folders where you can group related Answers. Click on the tab down arrow to rename or delete a tab. Click on the More ellipsis for any Answer and select the move to tab choice to move your item to another tab. Click and drag a tab to move it to a different order. If your Liveboard contains one or more tabs, the default display is the first tab (left most) content.
- Add a filter
- Click the Add filter link in the menu panel to add filters to your Liveboard. Select the data source for your filter, choose the parameter, and enter your filter details. Under Filter options, you can add a display name for the filter to help other users understand your data.
- Delete Liveboard
- Click the More ellipsis in the the menu bar and select the Delete option to delete your Liveboard.
- Rename Liveboard
- Place your cursor over the Liveboard name and type your edits to rename your Liveboard.
- Edit Liveboard description
- Place your cursor over the Liveboard description and type your edits. Note: an accurate description of your Liveboard helps your colleagues discover data.
- Rearrange Liveboard
- Drag and drop, reshape, and resize Answers on your Liveboard to meet your
display requirements. Follow these methods and see the example figure below:
- Drag and drop Answer
- Click and hold the move handle at the top center of an Answer. Drag the Answers to the intended position and release to reposition.
- Reshape Answer
- Click the More ellipses for an Answer, choose the intended shape controls from the icons at the bottom of the list to reshape your Answer.
- Resize Answer
- Click and hold the resize handle in the bottom right of any Answer and drag to expand or contract the Answer. Release the handle when you reach your intended size.
- Delete Answer from Liveboard
- Click the More ellipses for an Answer, choose the Delete option to delete the Answer from the Liveboard.
