View KPIs

Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are quantifiable metrics used to evaluate the performance of a process, organization, employee, or other entities. In Explore, a KPI is an Answer that usually compares two parameters. For example, the number of open claims for a given period displayed in a month-to-month chart (see the example figure below).

You can add important KPIs to your personal Watchlist on the Home page in the Insights workspace. Select Add KPI to watchlist and search for available KPIs. Open any KPI in your watchlist to interact with the metrics.

After you add a KPI to the watchlist, Explore automatically subscribes you to an alert so that you get notifications about changes in the KPI. You can edit the alert on the Monitor subscriptions page. See Get KPI alerts with Monitor.
