  2. In Settings, select the Languages tab.
APD fetches values from the LanguageType typelist in PolicyCenter. Values fetched from the PolicyCenter typelist are identified by Externally managed by typelist.. Any values you added in APD also appear.
  3. In Languages, choose Add a Language to add a language or Create New to create a new language.
  4. In Add a Language or Create a Language, type the Label or Short Name, Product Name, and Product Description. Choose Save.
The Label can contain letters, numbers, and underscores (_). The first character must be a letter. The Short Name is populated with the standard language code, if available.

Resolve null currency values in Advanced Product Designer

Advanced Product Designer null currency values affect imported products and can block cloud synchronization. Resolving null currency values prevents synchronization errors and keeps Money drop-down items valid.

Products that are created by importing from a mind map contain null currency values because the mind map does not specify a currency for drop-down items of type Money. If a product contains null currency values, PolicyCenter throws errors when you attempt to synchronize the product with the cloud.

Resolve null currency values in an existing product in APD

APD resolves null currency values in an existing product so product configuration can complete without currency errors. Follow these steps to identify missing currency settings and assign valid currencies before saving.

About this task

When you lock a product, APD identifies null currency values and provides a way to resolve them.

Procedure
  1. View the product in APD.
  2. Lock the product.
If the product contains null currency values, a red badge appears to the left of the Save button indicating the number of issues identified.
  3. Click the red badge.
  4. In Identified Product Model Issues, in Some product currencies are not configured properly, click Fix issue.
  5. In Fix Product Currency Issues, in Currency, choose a currency from the drop-down list.
