Default, minimum, and maximum values product model properties in APD
APD default, minimum, and maximum product model property values enforce valid inputs for fields, exposure fields, and clause terms, improving accuracy and quote consistency. Rules include package comparison behavior and unsupported property types.
You can specify default values for:
- Fields
- Exposure fields
- Clause terms
- Drop-down lists
You can specify minimum and maximum values for:
- Numeric fields and exposure fields
- Clause terms of numeric and option type
- Clause terms of type package
If you want the values in one package to reference the values in another package, the values must be of the same type and in the same order. For example, the OBI package can reference the UM package because both packages have value types money/number/money.
You cannot specify minimum and maximum values for:
- Drop-down lists on fields and exposure fields
- Clause terms of type typelist
