Add default and minimum and maximum values in APD

Advanced Product Designer sets default, minimum, and maximum attribute values to enforce valid product data. Configure value rules to improve data quality and support jurisdiction-specific defaults during product setup.

About this task

Note: Minimum and maximum values are product model properties.

Procedure

Advanced Product Designer
  1. In Advanced Product Designer, navigate to the Attributes tab on an object.
  2. On an attribute that can have minimum and maximum values, select the ... > View Properties.
  3. Set Default Value, Minimum Value, or Maximum Value.
  4. Click Add Rule to add a rule that handles more complex situations.
    For example, you can add a rule that sets the default value for a particular jurisdiction.
