Resolve duplicate edition codes

About this task

If a product has editions from different worksets that have the same edition code, after migrating to Lifecycle Manager, the product has duplicate edition codes. You must resolve duplicate edition codes before you can edit the product.

Procedure

  1. Open the product for editing.
  2. In Select Edition, select an edition.
    If the edition's code is not unique, a warning message appears indicating that you must resolve the issue.
  3. Click Resolve issue.
  4. On the Editions tab, edit the edition.
  5. In Edit Edition Details, in Edition Identifier, give the edition a unique identifier.
