PolicyCenter Cloud API rebinds

A rebind is a job type in PolicyCenter that allows a new business submission to be bound more than once before the policy is issued. After a submission is bound but not yet issued, you can revise the submission, re-rate it, and bind it again with the revised terms, without having to cancel and rewrite the policy.

Rebind has the following characteristics:

• Rebind applies only to new business submissions.
• The rebind transaction is restricted to certain modifications on bound policy submissions.
• A submission can be bound and rebound multiple times before it is issued.
• Rebind must be enabled in config.properties. The flags are rebind.enabled and rebind.{product code}.enabled.
• A bound submission cannot be used to initiate a policy change.
