Searching for activities

In BillingCenter, you can search for activities using the following endpoint:

POST /common/v1/search/activities

Unlike GET /common/v1/activities, which returns activities assigned to the caller, the search endpoint lets you find activities based on the assignee's name, associated trouble ticket, or activity pattern.

Search parameters

Include search criteria in the request body under data.attributes. You can combine parameters in a single request. Results are returned only for activities that match all provided parameters.

For string search parameter fields, BillingCenter supports partial string matching. The search value must match the beginning of the string.


Parameter	Description
`assignedToLastName`	Returns activities assigned to users whose last name contains the provided string. Case-insensitive and supports partial string matching.
`assignedToFirstName`	Returns activities assigned to users whose first name contains the provided string.
`troubleTicketNumber`	Returns activities linked to the specified trouble ticket. Provide the trouble ticket number as a string.
`activityPattern`	Returns activities with the given activity pattern. Provide the code of the activity pattern, such as `notification`. Case-insensitive and supports partial string matching.
