What's new in Analytics for Qusar

Here are the Qusar release highlights for the Guidewire Analytics products. For more details, see the following:

Explore

Renewal Insights Explore liveboard

You can embed the new Renewal Insights Explore liveboard into PolicyCenter so that users can get policy renewal analytics insights in their everyday work. InsuranceSuite users can interact with the embedded liveboard just as they can in Explore. See Embed an Explore liveboard into InsuranceSuite.

Organize content into collections

You can now organize models, answers, and liveboards into collections so that you can find them more easily and curate sharing and collaboration. Collections are containers that logically group Explore objects. An object can belong to more than one collection without duplication. You can nest collections to create hierarchies. To learn more, see Organize with collections.

Explore solution content

The following content has been updated in release version 2026.05:

  • Explore for Policy (EFP)
  • Explore Financial Insights (EFR) for Policy
  • Explore Financial Insights (EFR) for Claims

This release also includes updates to Data Platform Insurance Data Models. See the Data Platform Content Release Notes.

Analytics Manager

New conditional post-processing capabilities

Analytics Manager now enables you to specify the conditions under which it calls each post-processing endpoint. For example, you might want an Analytics Manager solution for ClaimCenter to fast track a claim if it's low risk. You might want a solution for PolicyCenter to route a high-risk policy for manual underwriter review before issuance. In another example, you might submit HazardHub outputs, such as roof age and roof composition, into a rating algorithm in PolicyCenter, causing those values to be stored in that system's data model. Further, you might want to configure a solution to call a post-processing endpoint only if the assessment returns a specific result, such as low or ERROR for the category.

In a post-processing endpoint, you add a Post Processing Applicability control parameter and define the desired condition as an expression.

For instructions, see Define post-processing conditions.

Predict

Predict 8.x is a revision of Predict that's being introduced over time. It improves model development in the Build app by featuring a project-based workflow, updated model types, and simpler data handling. For information about new features in Predict, see What's new in Predict.

Cyence Full Assessment and Model 8

Cyence Full Assessments, underpinned by the Model 8 cyber risk data and loss generation engine, support underwriting decisions, pricing, and portfolio analysis with flexible user-defined firmographic inputs and faster results. These new assessment options deliver vastly enhanced analysis turnaround times and greatly expanded user flexibility for company definition, as well as an expanded event catalog and data enrichment.

  • Full Assessment for single companies enables underwriting decisions, policy pricing, and sensitivity testing with statistical loss metrics. The solution processes required company firmographics to produce average annual loss (AAL), return period severities, tail values at risk (TVaR), and other metrics. See Full Assessment for single companies.

  • Full Assessment for portfolios evaluates multiple companies simultaneously to produce portfolio-level loss metrics on a gross basis, with the capability of comparing, sharing, and grouping portfolios within the application. Portfolio Full Assessments require aggregated policy terms and support portfolio comparison and historical assessment retrieval. See Full Assessment for portfolios.
