Improved data import and export functionality

The improved utilities for importing and exporting administrative data in InsuranceSuite applications make it easier to bring administrative data in and out of InsuranceSuite. The new data importer and exporter are a productization of a Guidewire SurePath prebuilt solution. They help to ensure that administrative data is synchronized across InsuranceSuite applications.

The functionality allows you to import and export data in XML and Excel formats, with greater control over import and export behavior. The data exporter offers fine-grained control over the entities and records that are exported, how the data is organized in the output files, and whether related data is also exported. You can configure the exportable entities and their export format in an administrative user interface screen. The data importer allows you to manually or automatically manage conflicts in imported data and delete existing records in the database if desired.

Additionally, the data import and export are executed as asynchronous background processes, able to handle large amounts of data. The improved tracking of data importing and exporting also allow for easier auditing.

Cloud API framework (version 1.14.0)

New endpoints

The following endpoints have been added to Cloud API. If you are doing a core update, you can add these endpoints to the appropriate role.yaml files to provide authorization to users and services as needed.
