Search for a named catastrophe

About this task

You can search for the claims and policies that were affected by a particular catastrophe.

At the Select Module text box, click Named Catastrophe. A list is displayed.
To search for a name, move to the top right and, in the Search by Name text box, type the first characters of the name of interest.
To restrict the search by date, move further to the right and select the date range of interest.
Select a catastrophe name and display a rectangle of claims, policies, or both, depending on your selection at the left of the map.
Inside the rectangle are a set of circles (orange for claims, blue for policies). For aggregated details, select a circle.
To download a variety of details that are best viewed in a spreadsheet, move to the right and select Export.
To return to the list of catastrophes, move to the top of the screen and select View Catastrophe List.

At the extreme right, you can preview or import a layer; and, if you've captured claims or policies, you can view claim and policy data and view weather history.
