Cloud Platform release notes for February 24, 2026

This release updates Cloud Platform Tooling to version GWCP-Tooling 2.27.0 and Cloud Platform to version 1.119.0.

  • To make sure that you have the latest updates, GWCP components are made available to you as soon as they are ready for release. You might see new content as early as every two weeks, but some releases might take longer to be available.

What's new

Run and cancel builds with Build Management API (GWCP-87462)

You can use Build Management API to:
  • Check available branches and parameters for build types.
  • Run a build.
  • Cancel a build.

Added manual sign-offs for build promotion (GWCP-83764)

You can set a new type of default quality gates to ensure that InsuranceSuite builds are checked before promotion to higher star systems. In the Quality Gates app, you can create manual sign-offs which will block build promotion. To enable promotion, a build needs to be manually checked and signed off by a designated approver in the Build Promotion app.

To access Sign off builds in the Build Promotion app, you need be in the right access group in Guidewire Hub or have the right role and permissions in Access Management.

Added Access Management to the list of GWCP services (GWCP-93776)

Access Management is added to the list of GWCP services assigned a moderate criticality level. You can check if the service is operational on the Guidewire Cloud Status page.
