Cloud Platform release notes for June 22, 2026
This release provides updates to Access Management and SCIM Connect.
Note:
- To make sure that you have the latest updates, GWCP components are made available to you as soon as they are ready for release. You might see new content as early as every two weeks, but some releases might take longer to be available.
- It might take up to three weeks from the release date for changes to be deployed to your environment. To locate the dates and times of these maintenance events, check the Guidewire Cloud Status page.
What's new
Use group mappings to automatically assign and unassign users in your IdP
With the SCIM Connect and Access Management integration, you can configure automatic user access management through your Identity Provider (IdP). In the Access Management app, you can create group mappings that link the following elements:
- A group in your IdP.
You need to use your custom IdP groups. Don't use groups created by Guidewire.
- A role in Access Management.
- Context, which is either a specific star system or all star systems.
After you create a group mapping, users in the specified IdP group are automatically assigned or unassigned the corresponding role in Access Management based on the context.
Note: To use this functionality, you need to have SCIM Connect enabled and use Microsoft Entra ID as your IdP.
