Introduction to experimental components

Experimental components and properties are early-stage Jutro Design System building blocks. They let teams try new patterns in real projects before we commit to stable, production-ready components. Experimental components and properties are still evolving. They might not yet be fully accessible, documented, tested, or covered by design tokens. Their APIs and behavior can change more frequently than stable components. Some experimental components and properties might never be promoted to the stable library and might change significantly or be discontinued in future releases.

When an experimental component or property is promoted to the stable Jutro library, all experimental labeling for that feature is removed. The release notes and changelog will clearly identify the version in which this promotion occurs. From that point on, the feature is subject to the same standards and rules as any other Jutro component documented on API surface.
