Manage datasets

Before you begin

Ensure that you are at the Scenario List.

A dataset is a collection of settings within a comparison, as described in Overview of Guidewire Compare.

Select Manage Datasets. A list of all the available datasets is displayed. Here are your options:

To learn where a dataset is in use, review the Scenario Name column.
To delete all datasets that aren't in any scenario, move to the top and select Delete Unused Datasets, which is present only if a dataset is available for deletion.
Compare won't permit you to delete a dataset that's still in use.
To delete only a subset of the datasets that are available for deletion, select the check boxes for the datasets of interest and, when Delete is displayed at the top right, select Delete.
To update a dataset, click a scenario name and work on the scenario as described in View or change a scenario.
To rename a dataset, move to the right in a given row, select the Rename icon, and update a dialog.
