Assessment summaries
This topic documents the Cloud API for assessment summaries in ClaimCenter. It provides instructions and examples for how to use the endpoints, as well as some common business flows.
Assessment summaries refer to the risk and total loss assessments performed by external
analytics services. These assessments typically include risk scores, categories for the
scores, and recommended actions. For example, a fraud system would typically include
risk scores and categories for the scores, like low_risk or
high_risk, whereas a total loss evaluation system would include
categories like repairable and total_loss.
In ClaimCenter, you can attach these assessment summaries to their associated claims and exposures. For more information about how assessments work in ClaimCenter, refer to the Application Guide.
One valuable use case for these endpoints is to build an integration between your external analytics service and ClaimCenter so that whenever an assessment is made in the external service, the integration uses the endpoints to automatically create corresponding records for its associated claim or exposure in ClaimCenter.
