Consumer Service Portal Authentication

Authentication for the Consumer Service Portal is provided through Okta. Configuring authentication for the Consumer Service Portal must be done by the Consumer Service Portal support team. To establish authentication configuration for a new customer or to edit a current configuration, place a support case with the Consumer Service Portal Team and include information for the following areas of configuration:

Password Settings

Minimum Length
Specify the minimum number of characters required for passwords.
Complexity Requirements
Choose from the following to set password complexity requirements:
  • Lower case letter
  • Upper case letter
  • Number (0-9)
  • Symbol (e.g. !@#$%&^
  • Does not contain part of user-name
  • Does not contain first name
  • Does not contain last name
Common password check
Indicate if you would like to restrict use of common passwords.
Password Age
Choose if you would like to enforce any of the following options, replacing X with the value requested:
Note: Account recovery is not supported.
  • Enforce password history for last X months
  • Minimum password age is X hours
  • Password expires after X days
  • Prompt user X days before current password expires
  • Lock out after X unsuccessful attempts
  • Account is automatically unlocked after X minutes
  • Show lock out failures
  • Send lockout email to user

Multi-factor Authentication (MFA)

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is supported for SMS text messages and emails. If you would like MFA configured, please indicate it in your support request.
