Quoting
When quoting a product, PolicyCenter rates the policy to determine the cost.
Cloud API for PolicyCenter supports several PolicyCenter features that provide greater
control over the quoting process. This includes the following:
- Multi-version quoting
- You can generate and compare multiple quotes for the same job. For more information, seeMulti-version quoting
- Rating overrides
- You can manually override the amount for a given cost. For more information, see Rating overrides.
- Manual pricing
- PolicyCenter does not use a rating engine and you can manually set the costs instead. For more information, see Manual pricing.
Cloud API for PolicyCenter also provides endpoints to retrieve collections of costs and transactions for a quote. For more information, see Costs and transactions.
