Policy descendant entities
A policy descendant entity is a ClaimCenter entity that captures information
about a claim's policy and that has a foreign key to the Policy
entity,
either directly or indirectly. For example, RiskUnit
and
Coverage
are policy descendant entities.
Policy descendant entities define the policy information that is copied from the Policy Administration System to ClaimCenter. They are also included in the policy graph, which is used by Guidewire App Events to define the information to be sent to an external application as part of outbound integrations. For more information on integration graphs, see the App Events Guide.
When the REST endpoint generator creates endpoints for policy descendant entities, there are some differences in how the files are generated and how the endpoints must be configured.
