Generating endpoints for specific products

Insurers may have installed products that were not originally developed in Advanced Product Designer. This includes the "externally managed" products in the base configuration and products that came from Standards-Based Templates (SBTs). These products do not come with LOB-specific endpoints. And without these endpoints, you cannot create policies for these products through Cloud API.

If you want to create policies for these products through Cloud API, you can generate LOB-specific endpoints for them. However, these products predate the release of Advanced Product Designer and Cloud API. Therefore, some minor configuration is required to ensure the products work as expected.

The following sections describe how to generate LOB-specific endpoints for specific products.
